Quantum Chemistry Books
Professor Mulder has been for over ten years rector of OUNL (the Open University of the Netherlands). Since January 2011, he holds the Canada Research Chair in Distance Education in the Netherlands. Professor Mulder has a degree in quantum chemistry books and holds a doctorate in applied mathematics in theoretical chemistry. In 1979-1980, he made a post-doctorate in theoretical quantum chemistry books at the University of Western Ontario in London. In 1991, he served as professor of computer science in the field of education. And from 1993 to 1996 he was Dean of the School of Engineering. Professor Mulder has been a member since 2002 Executive of the Association of European distance universities. There is also a member of two European think tanks on open educational resources. The roadmap of Professor Mulder is impressive. His areas of teaching were as diverse as quantum chemistry, mathematics, statistics and computer science. His research covered a range from disciplinary intermolecular forces in quantum chemistry education policy for learning throughout life in the context of flexibility of open educational resources. This variety of themes allowed a production of impressive research and publication of articles, scientific journals and books. Professor Mulder's conference focused on "open universities for distance and open educational resources: a powerful combination, but problematic for the opening of the new classical and numerical aperture. The concept of openness is challenged since the advent of the Internet and put online by MIT's Open Courseware Program "makes available all its course materials free on the Internet. This event was the kickoff of a major expansion of this practice in the world. The community of open distance universities followed suit in 2006 in the United Kingdom and the Netherlands. Other countries followed, but a paradox remains. How to solve this paradox? In response to this question that Professor Mulder has proposed elements of reflection. In addition, he also presented an overview of the development situation of open educational resources at the international level, their advantages and barriers. He stressed the relevance of open educational resources in institutional strategies by providing a way that is financially viable. . . .
